Start by unboxing your Trezor device (Trezor Model T or Trezor Safe 3). Make sure your package is sealed and has not been tampered with. Every Trezor device comes with a holographic security seal — if it looks damaged or missing, contact our support before proceeding.
To use your Trezor wallet, you’ll need to install Trezor Suite, our official desktop and web application for managing your cryptocurrencies.
Download the latest version for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Follow the installation instructions and open the app once it’s ready.
Trezor Suite ensures your device remains up to date with the latest firmware and provides you with secure access to your wallet, account balances, and transaction history.
Plug your Trezor device into your computer using the USB cable provided. Trezor Suite will automatically detect your device and guide you through the setup process.
If this is your first time setting up the wallet, you'll be prompted to:
Install the firmware (if not already pre-installed)
Create a new wallet or recover an existing one
Set up a PIN code to protect your device from unauthorized access
Write down your recovery seed — a unique 12 or 24-word phrase
⚠️ Important: Never share your recovery seed with anyone. Write it down and store it offline in a secure place. This seed is the only way to recover your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.
Once your wallet is set up, you can:
Receive and send cryptocurrencies
Track your portfolio in real-time
Use advanced features like coin control, labeling, Tor mode, and more
